Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I want my lawn looking great, but I'm not sure how to do that, can you help me?
A: Yes, definitely. We can tell you how often to mow, and will also help you keep up with your shrubs and hedges, too.
Q: Will you charge more if I just want my grass mowed without adding extra services for flower beds or brush trimming?
A: Never! We specialize in customers who just want their yard mowed the way they want. We will never try to upsell you on another service, but we do provide them when we are asked.
Q: Will you just barely cut the top of the grass so that it will stay tall enough to need mowing every week?
A: Never! We cut to your satisfaction. If you feel your grass can skip a cut, simply contact us prior to your Mow Day, and we'll cancel your service for that week. Just beware that more than normal growth between mows will change the look of your lawn and could incur extra mowing charges.
Q: Can I pay with a credit card?
A: Yes! You can give us a card to keep on file and charge every time, or sometimes pay with check and sometimes pay with your card.
Q: What is the difference between every other week and weekly mows?
A: The main difference is the look of the grass. Every week mows give you that smooth, golf course look. Allowing your grass to grow tall or thick between mows causes the blades of your grass to grow taller and thicker, which in turn makes the lawn look rougher, more course after a mowing. But hey, if that's the way you like it, that is the way we will mow it. Allowing growth between cuts does not harm the health of your grass, only the way it looks.
